Development and characterization of a noise-reduction coating

Students will be engaged in the development and characterization of a noise-reduction coating. By testing different materials and a mixing ratio of different materials, a noise reduction coating will be developed. Under controlled acoustic frequencies, the noise reduction by the coating will be characterized. For further information, please contact Prof. Taka Sakaue (hsakaue@nd.edu).
