EE - Data Collection System Verification using LabView & Matlab

The project objective is to create a method of verifying system capabilities upon new software releases. This will involve working with a real-time data collection system in order to verify calibration and other essential system functions continue to work correctly after updating LabVIEW and other drivers. The approach is staged and will require changes to LabVIEW code with verification using MATLAB. The student will be allowed to take the lead and plan the exact path forward. They will document necessary steps and features that must be checked whenever the software is to be upgraded.

Name of research group, project, or lab
Pratt Lab
Why join this research group or lab?

Our group offers hands-on experience with powerful data collection equipment. We allow our students the flexibility to discover their own solutions while also offering guidance from experienced staff members. This work will help support our group's overall hardware capabilities, and can line the student up for future work where data collection is necessary.
