EE - Electronic Device Design, Fabrication, and Characterization

In support of ongoing research in the area of electronic devices leveraging the unique material properties of compound semiconductors (e.g. GaN, AlGaN), undergraduate research opportunities are available.  Activities may include device design using computer-aided CAD tools, device fabrication in the Nanofabrication facility, or electrical characterization of devices using advanced metrology equipment.

Interest in semiconductor devices and solid-state physics is essential.  Prior experience with computer programming, electrical test and measurement techniques, and cleanroom operations will be helpful but not essential.
