EE - Ferroelectric diodes and transistors

This project is to develop ferroelectric devices for analog weight storage and programmable switches. Projects can involve device fabrication, including atomic layer deposition, sputtering, and rapid thermal processing in the Notre Dame Nanofabrication Facility, wafer probing, semiconductor device characterization, and analysis in the Stinson-Remick Nanoelectronics Lab, and related research & development problems. Students will increase their understanding of electronic measurements, devices, materials, chemistry, and physics as they explore future paths for electronics. Students from all engineering, science, and math disciplines can apply.
