AME - XLeRobot - Contributing to an Open-Source Robotic Mobile Manipulator
The Correll laboratory has been contributing to an open-source mobile manipulator XLeRobot, that is equipped with two arms, a camera, and a complete software stack for navigation and manipulation. The goal of this project is to reproduce this platform at Notre Dame, suggest and implement improvements, and deploy it in a mobile manipulation demo of the student's choice.
The Correll lab has been recently moved from CU Boulder, spearheading the new Physical AI and Robotics (PAIR) initiative at the University of Notre Dame. We are looking forward to the creativity and energy you are bringing to our group and are looking forward to growing together.
Funds are available for supporting publication cost/conference travel, should your goal be publication in a scientific venue.
